TUTORIAL Shuriken Star PendantBrooch with Focal Clasped Rope
Instant Download
This is definitely one of my favorite designs to date...pretty and somewhat dangerous-looking my star is named for the martial arts throwing stars.
Another "twofer" design as the clasp for the rope can be worn as a stand alone piece. The star itself can be made as a brooch or pendant....or both :) I love versatility!
The rope is easy enough for a beginner with just four steps to learn and by the time you finish the rope the clasp will be a breeze...and after that the star will almost make itself :)
The star measures 2.5" from point to point and 3" from bail to point. Materials amounts are given individually for the star, clasp and rope (18") with suppliers listed for the spikes.
This tutorial has 24 pages of step-by-step, fully illustrated instructions that make this easy enough for any one with basic bead weaving skills.
The tutorial comes in PDF format.
