Baby Egg Tutorial with Video class

The Baby Egg was originally designed to fit in my Dragon Egg Box because who doesn't want a surprise inside?

However...you can make it all on it's own to hang on your Christmas tree or as an Easter decoration.

The Baby Egg is 5.5cm (2 1/4") tall (hanging loop not included) and 4.5cm (1 7/8") in diameter at the widest point. Worked entirely in peyote stitch.  With correct tension it holds it's shape as a hollow vessel but you can stuff it if you like. The 13 page tutorial has lots of progress photos and illustrations with instruction, four colourways are included for a solid & plaid version. The accompanying video (link found on page 2) is just shy of 2 hours and I show you step by step how to make your own Baby Egg with tips and tricks along the way.

You'll need 

A  Delica 11/0 Metallic                           9g

B  Seed bead 15/0                              3g

C  Delica 11/0 Dark shade                    6g

D  Delica 11/0 Light shade                    5g

E  True 2mm Fire Polish                    290

F  3.4mm drop                                     2

Beading needle (I use a Tulip 10 long)

Thread (I use 6lb Fireline crystal)
